Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is the life's work of Peter Levine and one approach to trauma resolution and the relief of recurring stress. This method is the result of 45 years of successful clinical use as well as extensive research in the disciplines of stress physiology, biology, psychology, ethology, indigenous healing practices, medical biophysics, and neuroscience.

What kinds of trauma does it treat? |
Any event that is more than the body and mind can bear is considered to be a form of trauma. These events —large or small—disrupt our systems and our coping mechanisms and include, but are not limited to: auto accidents, falls, divorce, loss, and bullying at school or loss of work.

My Approach |
My approach is first grounded in creating the sacred space in which healing can occur—and is then layered with the wisdom practices of cranial sacral therapy, indigenous healing, and yogic practices. The practice of listening, softening and connecting along with clinical skills, holds space for deep transformation and renewal.
